MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER NEWS: MALCOM SPEAKS OUT, LATEST RUMOURS ON LYANCO

Bordeaux starlet Malcom has denied speculation he's held discussions withManchester United about a possible transfer.
The 19-year-old is enjoying an impressive season in Ligue 1 and has been linked to a string of Europe's biggest names as a result. However, when asked about possible negotiations with United and rivals Liverpool, the man himself insisted that's not the case.
"This thing about Liverpool (and) Manchester—I don't know anything about it," said Malcom, per Sean Kearns of Metro. "I'm very calm, I only think about Bordeaux today. I want to do my job well and give French fans lots of joy."

Here is a look at why so many are so excited about the youngster's potential:

Gibraltar 0-6 Belgium: Christian Benteke bags record and a hat-trick against minnows

Christian Benteke scored Belgium's opener in a World Cup qualifying record as his side comfortably maintained their Group H lead on goal difference.

The Crystal Palace striker held up six fingers in his muted celebration but was one second out with the official time standing at seven seconds.

Still, it set a new mark and his side were on their way to a rout.

To be fair, it was a gift for Benteke, who stole the ball after a defensive blunder from Gibraltar's defence at the kick-off before waltzing through for a simple finish.

Southgate to Drop England Captain Rooney

Gareth Southgate is to leave Wayne Rooney out of the England starting XI to face Slovenia, talkSPORT understands.

Rooney captained the Three Lions in Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Malta in Southgate's first match in interim charge.

The Manchester United star, who has lost his starting place at Old Trafford in recent weeks, was deployed in a deep central midfield role but he struggled to make much of an impact and was booed by a section of the Wembley crowd.

Southgate defended Rooney after the match, claiming he was “pleased" with the 30-year-old's performance.

However, sources close to the England camp have told talkSPORT that he has decided to drop the country's record goalscorer for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier in Slovenia.

Tottenham's Eric Dier, one of England’s best performers at Euro 2016, is set to take the United star's place in the team.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, who outshone Rooney against Malta, or Chelsea defender Gary Cahill will skipper the side.

DOMINANT MAN U BEATS STOKE CITY 3-0

Manchester United didn't take long to strike against Stoke City on Tuesday, finding the net in the first 15 minutes of the game before properly burying the away side from there, winning 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney each scored in one of United's most well-rounded performances of the season.

AC MILAN VS SAMPDORIA. IT WAS ALL ABOUT "NIANG".

M'Baye Niang put in a man-of-the-match performance to help AC Milan to a 4-1 Serie A win over Sampdoria at San Siro on Saturday, scoring two and setting up one more.

Sinisa Mihajlovic's men were fortunate not to go 1-0 behind early on when Roberto Soriano failed to take advantage of Gianluigi Donnarumma's mistake.

It was all Milan from thereon, though, and Giacomo Bonaventura opened the scoring after a sublime assist from Niang.

The Frenchman then converted a spot-kick for his first Milan league goal, adding a second after the break following an error from Emiliano Viviano.

Luiz Adriano rubbed further salt in the visitors' wounds in the 78th minute, with Eder's last-gasp penalty offering scant consolation to Vincenzo Montella's men.

MSN STRIKES AGAIN

Barcelona extended their winning streak to seven games in all competitions, thanks to a comfortable 4-0 home triumph over Real Sociedad.

The fearsome front trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez all scored for Luis Enrique's side, who have not tasted defeat since a 2-1 reverse away at Sevilla on October 3.

Neymar converted crosses from Dani Alves and Jeremy Mathieu to grab a goal in each half, while he also set up the fit-again Messi to make it 4-0 in the closing minutes.

However, it was Suarez who scored the pick of the bunch. The former Liverpool forward made it 2-0 to the hosts shortly before the break with a superb volley
